The Hama-oh is a soft lure mounted on a lead head, which has the particularity of already having a rigid assembly with two treble hooks. The lead head has been designed for an ultra simple and robust attachment of the lure. It is enough to slide it straight onto the frame, and a non-return system holds it and prevents it from slipping. Because of the shape of the lure, the hook attachment bar is completely concealed.
The body is made from a rubber that is hard enough to resist the attacks of predators, but a notch in the tail gives it enough flexibility to come into action at very low retrieval. The head was designed to maximize aerodynamics and thus enhance penetration into air and water. Its shape and attachment also add an interesting rolling action to the lure.
NB: lure delivered assembled with its two sea treated treble hooks (invisible in the pictures).
