The Major Craft Eely Shad is a particularly effective and versatile soft lure, designed to mimic a sandeel, a prey loved by marine predators such as bass, seabass, or meagre. This lure is available in several sizes: 7.5 cm, 9.5 cm, 13 cm, and 16 cm, with weights ranging from 4.1 g to 39.2 g, allowing it to be used in a variety of fishing situations, from the surface to great depths.

Technical uses:
• Surface fishing: For shallow waters or when fish are hunting near the surface, the lighter 7.5 cm and 9.5 cm models are recommended. Their lightness allows for a natural swimming just below the surface, ideal with a linear or sawtooth retrieval. These lures create a vibrating action that attracts predators even in low activity conditions.
• Mid-depth fishing: The 13 cm model (22.3 g) is suitable for mid-water layers. Use it with a "stop-and-go" animation to mimic an injured fish. It is perfect for attracting more wary predators, while remaining in the hunting zone where they often are.
• Deep fishing: The heaviest model, 16 cm (39.2 g), is ideal for fishing in deep waters or in strong currents. Thanks to its rapid descent, this model is effective in vertical jigging or during rapid retrievals.
• Low visibility conditions: In addition to its dynamic design, the Eely Shad is available in colours suitable for turbid or poorly lit waters, such as the Tennessee Shad or the Laser Chart Yamame, offering a great visibility under water.
