The Major Craft Eely Shad is a particularly effective and versatile soft lure, designed to imitate a sandeel, a prized prey of marine predators such as bass, sea bass or meagre. This lure is available in several sizes: 7.5 cm, 9.5 cm, 13 cm, and 16 cm, with weights ranging from 4.1 g to 39.2 g, which allows it to be used in a variety of fishing situations, from the surface down to great depths.

Technical uses :
• Surface fishing: For shallow waters or when fish are hunting near the surface, the lighter models of 7.5 cm and 9.5 cm are recommended. Their lightness allows a natural swim just below the surface, ideal with a linear recovery or a zigzag. These lures create a vibrating action that attracts predators even in conditions of low activity.
• Mid-depth fishing: The 13 cm (22.3 g) model is suitable for mid-water layers. Use it with a "stop-and-go" animation to imitate an injured fish. It is perfect for attracting more wary predators, while staying in the hunting zone where they are often found.
• Deepwater fishing: The heaviest model, 16 cm (39.2 g), is ideal for deepwater fishing or powerful currents. Thanks to its rapid descent, this model is effective in vertical jigging or during quick recoveries.
• Conditions of low visibility: In addition to its dynamic design, the Eely Shad is available in colours suitable for turbid or poorly lit waters, such as the Tennessee Shad or the Laser Chart Yamame, offering great visibility underwater.
