The sardine is one of the most versatile and attractive baits in both the Atlantic and the Mediterranean. Mediterranean sardines are smaller than their Atlantic cousins. Caught with a seine net and frozen at 30° just a few hours after being taken out of the water, our sardines are of ideal freshness (hook holding, attractiveness). To be used either in fillets or pieces (breams, whiting, seabreams, etc.) or whole for the larger fish (bass, eels, seabreams, drum, bonito, etc). It is also a bait that is increasingly used for catching squid in trap or needle jigs: formidable efficiency on fine specimens!
