This rod has the optimal length and power for linear fishing (predator fishing with LS. The action involves casting at 25/30m and then retrieving the LS along the bottom, alternating small movements of the tip to lift the lure off the bottom during retrieval.) Extra fast action. The tip is very fast while preserving smooth transition in the first third. All technical elements have been carefully considered to optimize sensation. It is excellent with 5 to 14g heads + 3 and 4'' LS. It can also be used with small swimming fish.
Technology is rapidly advancing, in multimedia indeed but also in the carbons available on the market. The use of micro nodules, new IM8 as well as new 30 and 40T allows us to consistently bring innovations to a series of rods that undoubtedly offer the fisherman mechanical properties that make his rod a formidable tool of efficacy. Faithful to our company culture, our fishermen's intuition, we propose in this NX4 series an evolution of LX models that have been highly acclaimed, but also new features that previously did not exist in our range.
The Blanks: Thinner diameters, optimized reaction speed, increased resilience strength are the main qualities of the new blanks. The mechanical performances of the new carbons have also allowed us to release rods in 2 or 3 pieces without compromising efficacy, the intended purpose. We use the best carbons from the two leading manufacturers: Toray and Mitsubishi.
Technical elements: Each blank is assembled with a series of rings whose properties correspond to the strains for which the rod is intended. Each model receives on its heel a piece of impregnated wood (denser than cork or EVA) to perfect the balance. On each rod there is mounted at the front of the handle a 3cm braided carbon extension. In addition to improving comfort when fishing with the finger on the blank, this hollow extension acts as a soundboard (similar to a guitar between the strings and the body of the instrument).
