This pattern is truly versatile for natural settings, ideal for calm waters and canals, or low-flow rivers. The body shape is that of a lengthened rugby ball, offering superb stability and an excellent body shape to provide low resistance to the captured fish and when it is struck out of the water. The high visibility fibreglass hairs and the diameters of the stem increase as the float sizes increase from 0.5 g to 4 g, so that everything is proportioned and balanced as you increase the size.
The fibreglass tips are easy to see and also translucent, making them visible in all light conditions, glass being very sensitive to identify fish bites of all sizes in different situations. The metal stem versions of the float are suited to situations where stability is a priority, allowing you to maintain a super stable and static bait even in difficult and windy conditions. The carbon stem version is better suited to fast fishing situations where reducing tangles is a priority during a lightning-fast expedition, or when you are looking to catch fish on the fall, allowing the float to "follow" the shot down as it falls through the water. The carbon itself is thin for ultimate performance, cutting through the water cleanly so you don't have to endure annoying blockages when skimming the surface in calm weather.
Available sizes (metal stem and carbon stem): 0.5 g, 0.75 g, 1 g, 1.5 g, 2 g, 2.5 g, 3 g, 4 g.
The range of natural pole floats Guru explained:
This particular range of floats has been in development for a long time, we are almost certain you have seen various samples used by our consultants and in films for quite some time now! However, we have continually refined and expanded the range during the design and production phase in order to produce a complete collection of floats suited to a diverse range of jobs in natural sites across rivers, canals and calm waters. At last, they have arrived!
The range includes eight different models covering many shapes and sizes, all having specific uses in different situations. You have undoubtedly noticed that the floats have been meticulously tried and tested by our international team of fishermen, with personalities like Matt Godfrey, James Dent, Steve Ringer, Frankie Gianoncelli and Andy Bennett all having contributed to their production. Great attention and many modifications have been made to the lengths and diameters of the stems and hairs, so that each size is unique and perfect for the situation at hand.
The key feature that sets this range of floats apart from anything we or others have ever produced before is the Elastilex paint finish, which gives the floats ultimate strength, durability and longevity. This finish means that the high-quality balsa bodies of the float are protected by an ultra thin and incredibly durable elastic coating that wraps the body, preventing any damage to the body due to wear, impacts or line cuts, thus reducing the risks of the floats taking on water. The paint finish is a dark colour, which our top fishermen felt was important since these floats have been used on clear and natural sites, the dark body blending in to the water allowing for ultimate focus on the high visibility bristles.
Features: • A real all-rounder • High-visibility fibreglass tip • Available in wire and carbon stem
