The tite (or "bibi") is one of the most commonly used baits in the Mediterranean, especially for sea breams which are particularly fond of them. Surfcasting fishermen who manage to get them on the Atlantic coast have very convincing results on sea bass and dorada. Our tites are gathered in the Mediterranean and frozen while still alive at very low temperatures before being vacuum-sealed. They are large worms that need to be cut into 2 or 3 pieces, drained of their water and their meat (and viscera) tied onto the hook with very thin elastic thread.
• Preservation Duration: 1 to 2 years in the freezer (-18°) • Thawing: In seawater just before baiting • Size: 12-15cm • Cond: Approximately 20 pieces
