The Hybrid Wide Gape B hook is based on the same principle as the Wide Gape, with a slightly larger gauge and weight for a stronger anchor. It does not include a barb for easier penetration and its thicker profile helps it stay in place. We only developed barb-free versions for the inturned point models, as they have a firmer hold. Indeed, the hook must take the opposite path to come out, which is more difficult. A superb hook for situations where barbs are forbidden.
