The Klor hook model was designed and created by Danny Fairbrass to be an aggressive, strong hook with quick rotation and usable with a wide variety of rigs. It is produced by one of the best Japanese hook manufacturers and is incredibly strong. It has proven capable of withstanding fishing big fish in extreme conditions, both in the UK and Europe.

The Klor has a very aggressive shape (even more than the Kurv Shank), with a point aligned with the hook, which promotes its rotation when the carp takes it. The reversed shank and the hook bent inward also mean that the hook can be used without needing to add a thermo sheath or a kicker.

It can be used with braid, sheathed braid (provided the first inches behind the hook's eye are stripped) or in a combi-rig.

The curved tip is long, ultra sharp, and slightly turned inward, which ensures good hook holding after sting. It is also much less likely to be damaged by pest species, such as crayfish and small fish, that shift it on the bottom, especially when fishing on gravel or hard bottoms.

The shank is made of iron, which makes for a very strong hook that can be used in extreme conditions, even when using braid, without fear that it will open. During tests, Danny has landed carp of over 60 pounds in wild and obstacle-filled French waters. Despite the strong iron shank, the tip remains very sharp and the barb, once the hook is in place, ensures that it stays in place.
