The sardine is one of the most versatile and attractive baits in both the Atlantic and Mediterranean. Mediterranean sardines are smaller than their Atlantic cousins. Caught using seine fishing and frozen at 30° a few hours after being pulled from the water, our sardines are of perfect freshness (hook holding, attractiveness). To be used in fillets or pieces (breams, whiting, grey sea breams, etc) as well as whole for larger fish (bass, conger, bream, lean, bonito, etc). It is also a bait that is increasingly being used to fish for squid with cage or needle jigs: formidable effectiveness on beautiful specimens!
