The Sidewinder™ is our premium range of handheld thermal monoculars. All models are equipped with a 384 × 288 or 640 × 512 twelve micron infrared detector and a 1024 × 768 OLED display for better colour rendering. Sidewinder thermal sensors also have the most sensitive temperatures in their category, lower than 20 millikelvins across the entire product range. Other improvements over the Taipan monoculars include a sturdier body/case and a removable, rechargeable 18650 battery. These units also benefit from an impressive waterproof rating, ensuring peace of mind for users in the majority of weather conditions. The Sidewinders' built-in 64GB memory is also at the top of its category on the market, with advanced software supporting both video recording and image capture. The main uses for these thermal monoculars include, but are not limited to: hunting, law enforcement, search and rescue, personal security, conservation, anti-poaching, camping, hiking, and various marine applications.
