The NEW Clarion dual base magnification thermal scope is one of the most technologically advanced thermal scopes in the world. The new Clarion scopes have been meticulously designed to solve one of the biggest problems that many night hunters face, namely the selection of the lens/sensor configuration size that will provide the base optic magnification and field of view for each hunter's main application. Clarion mitigates this problem by integrating a dual lens optical system capable of mechanically switching between a 25mm lens and a 50mm lens. This feature changes the base magnification and field of view without degrading the image resolution!
With the Clarion 384, night hunters can now enjoy the benefits of a 25mm lens with a base magnification of 2x and a wider field of view (10.5° × 7.9° or 53 feet at 100 meters), then quickly switch to a 50mm lens with a base magnification of 4.5x and a narrower field of view (5.3° × 4.0° or 27 feet at 100 meters) to really ensure that your positive identification and shot placement are accurate!
This dual base magnification flexibility is a new evolution in electro-optics and will offer hunters the versatility needed to optimise their optics based on the specific geography and animals they hunt, whether it's hogs in the Eastern fields or coyotes in the Western deserts!
This new design is also coupled with the most sensitive thermal sensor in its category, at a breathtaking level of less than 20 millikelvins.
Although Clarion implements a new advanced optical system, they have not skimped on any of the design elements that hunters expect from the AGM brand model, including: high quality 12 micron 384x288 thermal sensor, removable rechargeable battery, up to 11 hours of continuous runtime on a single charge (2 batteries included), 10 internal reticle options, 5 different customizable zeroing profiles, 10 different brightness and contrast settings, Wi-Fi hotspot capability, built-in recording with sound and image capture storage, AGM Connect App compatibility, 4 different reticle colours, 4 colour palettes, 5 image sharpness settings and a high quality American Defense mount that works well with AR and bolt shooting platforms.
