The Speed is a model designed to catch a large number of fish, a stable model that sets and stabilizes very quickly, allowing to see a bite as soon as the bait is set, perfect for use with a positive set up of a bulky style. The quick setting nature of this float comes from the fact that it is a downward body design, with the tapered tear-shaped body with the bottom of the body rounder for more stability and the top part of the body gently tapering to the bristle.

This shape also means that the float is perfect for descending in the water when using baits like the bloodworm or bread punch and it strikes incredibly cleanly from the water. The fibreglass tips are very sensitive, but unlike many silverfish type floats, we have introduced a slightly thicker tip so that they are clearly visible, especially in the smaller sizes likely to be used under difficult light conditions on the small canals and drains.

The variations of wire and carbon stems in all sizes mean that anglers have options for wire floats super stable for difficult conditions, and carbon versions for faster fishing to reduce tangles.

Available sizes (metal rod and carbon rod): 0.2 g, 0.4 g, 0.6 g, 0.8 g, 1 g

The Guru natural pole floats range explained:

This particular range of floats has been in development for a long time, we are almost certain that you have seen various samples used by our consultants and in films for a good while now! However, we have constantly refined and completed the range during the design and production phase so that we can produce a complete collection of floats suitable for a diversified range of jobs on natural sites across rivers, canals and still waters. Finally, they've arrived!

The range includes eight different models covering many shapes and sizes, all with specific uses in different situations. You will undoubtedly have noticed that the floats have been thoroughly tried and tested by our team of international anglers, with personalities like Matt Godfrey, James Dent, Steve Ringer, Frankie Gianoncelli and Andy Bennett all contributing to their production. A lot of attention and numerous changes have been made to rod lengths and bristle diameters, so each size is unique and perfect for the situation in hand.

The key feature setting this range of floats apart from anything we or others have previously produced is the Elastilex paint finish, giving the floats ultimate resistance, durability and longevity. This finish means the float's high-quality balsa bodies are protected by an ultra-thin and incredibly durable elastic coating that wraps the body, preventing any damage to the body due to wear, impacts or line cuts, thereby reducing the risk of the floats taking on water. The paint finish colour is dark, which according to our top anglers was important since these floats have been used on clear and natural venues, the dark body blending in with the water allowing ultimate focus on the high visibility bristles.

Features:
• Quick-set float
• Downward body design
• Thicker, visible tip
• Carbon and wire versions
