There is nothing more troublesome, when fishing with zig rig using a long leader, than fearing it might snag on an obstacle on the ground during casting, or that the tip might blunt on contact with an object.
The Zig Magnet permanently solves this problem. This extremely simple device just screws onto a spike placed behind you, at an appropriate spot for your casts, the hook is held in place on its magnetic surface and released by the force of the cast.
By elevating your leader and your hook, this accessory eliminates any risk of snagging in an obstacle behind you. Fluorescent green in color, the upper part made of plastic has a flat magnetic surface designed to hold your hook in place very easily, and its adjustable ball joint allows you to orient it as you wish.
Its threading allows for screwing onto a standard spike.
