The strouille (or broumé), a grind of sardines, is the most widely used bait in the sea today. Few species of fish resist its scents. In the Atlantic, strouille blocks are mainly used to bait gray breams while fishermen in the Mediterranean use it to attract shoals of mackerel, skipjack, pelamids and red tuna. Pagres, sars and dentex respond very well to baiting by boat. Our strouille consists only of fresh whole ground sardines, without additives or preservatives. It is used still frozen in nets or bait feeders primarily by boat but also from the shore. It is also possible to thaw the grind and mix it with other ingredients to make a "homemade" bait or fill a bait feeder or feeder.
• Preservation Duration: 1 to 2 years in the freezer (-18°) • Packaging: 1.8kg
