The Riptide PowerDrive has been used for years by sea fishermen who seek reliable performance and intelligent control. SPOTLOCK GPS motors come with a micro remote control for basic functions.
Deployment Assistance Lever: easily enter and exit the engine from the water. Simply push the lever to deploy your trolling engine and when it's time to move it, it stows away easily and safely.
Enhanced GPS System : the most reliable navigation system in fishing. The motor uses GPS to control your motor with unrivalled features. Set Spot-Locks, record routes, control speed and direction, .... Minn Kota makes automatic boat positioning and control, while taking commands from the wireless remote control of the engine.
One-Boat Network: ready to use, Minn Kota motors come standard with all linked cables to connect to Humminbird sonar units (compatible), unlocking more advanced navigation features without additional adapters or complicated setup procedures.
Digital Maximizer: Without a Maximizer, motors run at constant power, regardless of boat speed. Result: high electric current consumption and engine overheating. This reduces the time spent on the water and induces premature engine wear. With the Maximizer, just choose the desired speed and the engine will regulate the course by reducing energy consumption, thereby extending the life of the battery and the mechanics for the same available power.
Carbon Fibre Shaft stronger and more flexible ensuring a lifetime durability.
Micro Remote-Bluetooth Remote Control: some engine models come with the new wireless micro remote control. If you want simpler and compact control, the waterproof Bluetooth Micro Remote allows access to main functions: Spot-Lock, speed, direction and AutoPilot.
Spot-Lock: Function that stabilizes your vessel within a 60 cm radius around a point stored in the remote (or in the combo). The engine operates independently to compensate for wind, current effects, etc…
AutoPilot: Your GPS accuracy enables the vessel to maintain the predefined direction while correcting drift effects due to current or wind.
Push-to-Test: push a button for an instant battery level reading.
Corrosion Protection: Engine specially prepared for use in a saline environment: increased motor block coating protection and encapsulation of electronic boards.
