Set Spot-Locks, record routes, control speed and direction, .... Minn Kota makes boat positioning and control automatic, all while commanding from the engine's wireless remote control.
One-Boat Network: ready to use, Minn Kota engines come standard with all connection cables to connect to Humminbird sounding sets (compatible), unlocking more advanced navigation features without additional adapters or complicated setup procedures.

New WIRELESS wireless remote control: all engines come with the new wireless remote control compatible with the One-Boat Network app.
"Drift mode": Today, fishermen must constantly struggle against environmental conditions in order to maintain a constant course and speed. The drift mode simultaneously uses the course keeper and the speed controller to manage boat control. Fishermen no longer need floating anchors or other auxiliary aids to control the movement of the boat.
Spot-Lock: Function allowing to stabilize your boat within a radius of 60 cm around a point memorized in the remote control (or in the combined). The engine is autonomous to offset the effects of wind, current, etc…
AutoPilot: The precision of your GPS allows you to keep the boat in the preset direction while correcting drift effects related to current or wind.
Stow Deploy System: The lifting/deployment system allows the Terrova to slip into the water with a simple press of its handle. Lifting is just as easy, the circuit breaker stops your engine.
The Riptide Terrova's secure mooring and deployment method varies slightly between short shaft and long shaft engines.
Short shaft engines with a shaft length of 152.4 cm have only a depth adjustment collar, which is used to adjust the engine depth during deployment. When mooring the engine, the depth adjustment collar is placed against the steering housing to ensure safe mooring.
Long shaft engines with a shaft length of 182.9 cm, 221 cm or 254 cm are equipped with a mooring lock collar, a coiled cord slider and a depth adjustment collar. On long shaft engines, the depth adjustment collar works to keep the engine at the right depth when it is deployed.
The mooring lock collar is unlocked to allow the shaft to move freely during mooring and deployment. Once the engine is moored, the mooring lock collar is locked to ensure safe mooring. The mooring lock collar can also be locked to keep the engine at the appropriate depth when it is deployed in shallow water.
