The Riptide PowerDrive has been used for years by sea anglers who seek reliable performance and intelligent control. The SPOTLOCK GPS motors come with a micro remote control for basic functions.
Deployment assist lever: Easily get your motor in and out of the water. Simply press the lever to deploy your trolling motor and when it's time to move it, it stows away securely and easily.
Improved GPS system: the most reliable navigation system for fishing. The motor uses GPS to control your motor with features that are unmatched. Set Spot-Locks, record routes, control speed and direction, ... Minn Kota makes boat positioning and control automatic, all while taking commands from the motor's wireless remote control.
One-Boat Network: Ready to use, Minn Kota motors come standard with all linking cables to connect to compatible Humminbird sonar units, unlocking more advanced navigation features without additional adapters or complicated setup procedures.
Digital Maximizer: Without Maximizer, motors run at constant power, regardless of the boat's speed. Result: high current consumption and motor overheating. Which reduces the time spent on the water and induces premature motor wear. With the Maximizer, just choose the desired speed and the motor will regulate the course by reducing energy consumption, thereby extending the life of the battery and the mechanics for the same available power.

Micro Remote-Bluetooth Remote Control: Some motor models come with the new wireless micro remote control. If you want simplified and compact control, the waterproof Bluetooth Micro Remote control provides access to the main functions: Spot-Lock, speed, direction and AutoPilot.
Spot-Lock: Function allowing you to stabilize your boat within a 60 cm radius around a point memorized in the remote control (or in the combo). The motor is autonomous to compensate for the effects of wind, current, etc...
AutoPilot: The accuracy of your GPS allows you to maintain the boat in the predefined direction while correcting the effects of drift due to current or wind.
Push-to-Test: push a button to get an instant reading of the battery level.
Corrosion protection: Motor specially prepared for use in a salt environment: improved protection of the motor block coating and encapsulation of the electronic boards.
