THE TRUSTY ENGINE
The Riptide PowerDrive has been used for years by sea fishermen who seek reliable performance and smart control.
GPS engines come with a WIRELESS remote control to use all functions.
Deployment assistance lever: Easily get the engine in and out of the water. Just press the lever to deploy your trolling motor and when it's time to move it, it stores away easily and securely.
Enhanced GPS system: The most reliable navigation system for fishing. The engine uses GPS to control your engine with unmatched features. Set Spot-Locks, record routes, control speed and direction.... Minn Kota makes boat positioning and control automatic, while taking commands from the engine's wireless remote control.
One-Boat Network: Ready to use, Minn Kota engines come standard with all connecting cables to connect to Humminbird sonar units (compatible), unlocking more advanced navigation features without additional adapters or complicated setup procedures.
Digital Maximizer: Without Maximizer, engines run at constant power, regardless of the speed of the boat. Result: high electrical current consumption and engine overheating. This reduces the time spent on the water and results in premature wear to the engine. With the Maximizer, just choose the desired speed and the engine will regulate the course by reducing energy consumption, thus extending the life of the battery and mechanics for the same available power.
Carbon fibre shaft is stronger and more flexible, ensuring a lifetime of durability.
Micro Remote-Bluetooth Remote Control: Some engine models come with the new wireless micro remote control. If you want simpler and compact control, the waterproof Bluetooth Micro Remote provides access to main functions: Spot-Lock, speed, direction and AutoPilot.
Spot-Lock: Function allowing you to stabilize your boat within a radius of 60 cm around a point memorized in the remote control (or in the receiver). The engine is autonomous to compensate for the effects of wind, current, etc…
AutoPilot: The accuracy of your GPS allows you to keep the boat in the preset direction while correcting for drift effects due to current or wind.
Push-to-Test: Press a button for an instant reading of the battery level.
Corrosion protection: Engine specifically prepared for use in a saline environment: improved protection of the engine block coating and encapsulation of the electronic plates.
