The TUBERTINI brand was established in 1971 by its founder of the same name, Gabriele Tubertini, an avid Italian fisherman. He decided to fully dedicate himself to his hobby and opened a fishing gear store in Bazzano, in the province of Bologna, with his wife Milena. Very quickly, TUBERTINI products obtained outstanding results in the world fishing competition in Italy and internationally. Specialized magazines then quickly became interested in the TUBERTINI brand and products, so the store and brand enjoyed growing success to the point of being unable to satisfy all demand. It was at this point that the TUBERTINI brand decided to open wholesale distribution. In the mid-70s, sport fishing began a major evolution. This was the turning point between a generic and not very technical market that was going to shift towards research and development, by the most advanced fishers, of high-quality products intended for different fishing techniques. The TUBERTINI company, already very focused on research and innovation, was thus able to capture an increasingly large share of the fishing market. Over the years, the TUBERTINI brand has endeavored to introduce new products and manufacturing processes to offer fishing rods, floats, or even monofilaments guaranteeing ever superior quality to satisfy the brand's fans. To this day, the philosophy of the TUBERTINI brand has not changed and is still rooted in the members of the teams working daily to develop the brand.
