Georg Fritzmann, later the founder of the company, was employed at a basketry counter in Germany. When one day a misplaced shipment arrived containing hunting trophies instead of the desired baskets, he asked his boss if he could take and sell them on his own account. The demand was so great that he changed professions and set up his own business to produce deer horn objects, such as chandeliers, wall lamps, floor lamps, barometers etc., gaining a name among hunters all over Germany. From humble beginnings, the company has evolved with over 20 employees today, to reach a product range with currently over 3000 items for the hunter. Fritzmann is still a family business and is now run by the 4th generation.
