Whether you are fishing trout with lure or with natural baits in a river, with a bombette in a reservoir, the choice of material and the optimum diameter of your fishing line will always be crucial. Although some lure fishers sometimes use braid, nylon and fluorocarbons remain logically the two most widespread, more discrete lines to foil the famous mistrust of farios trout. If you are fishing trout, a coloured nylon will allow you to follow the drift of your bait in an optimal way, a line guide can also be used, the fluorocarbon can allow you to gain discretion. When fishing with lures, a fine nylon will suit but a fluorocarbon will bring you more discretion and sensitivity to equal diameter, its resistance to abrasion will be also an advantage.
Using lures or natural baits, you will adapt the diameter of your line according to the fishing conditions encountered in order to reach the best compromise between discretion and resistance. You will find here the best trout lines, Pezon & Michel, Skaw, Pierre Sempé, Varivas and many other great brands await you.
