The
zander can also be completely fished with a hard lure, even though it is of course much more common to fish it with a
soft lure zander.
The most commonly used hard lures for zander are those that fish at great depth, such as vibration lures or a vibrating blade zander. But during certain seasons like spring or summer zanders can be present on the edge in shallow depth in broad daylight, and so all the more traditional swimbaits can target zanders, like the jerkbaits, or the cranckbaits.
But the choice for zanders is necessarily less, and most of the swimbaits will be chosen to find a
hard lure pike, a hard lure perch or a >hard lure black bass.
