The Sidewinder™ is our range of top-end handheld thermal monoculars. All models are equipped with a 384 × 288 or 640 × 512 twelve micron infrared detector and a 1024 × 768 OLED screen, ensuring better colour rendering. Sidewinder thermal sensors also have the most sensitive temperatures in their category, under 20 millikelvins across the entire product range. Other improvements over the Taipan monoculars include a more robust body/casing and a removable, rechargeable 18650 battery. These units also enjoy an impressive weatherproof rating, promising customers peace of mind when using them in the vast majority of weather conditions. The Sidewinder's built-in 64GB memory is also at the top of its category in the market, with advanced software offering support for both video recording and image capturing. These thermal monoculars' main uses include but are not limited to: hunting, law enforcement, search and rescue, personal safety, conservation, anti-poaching, camping, hiking and various marine applications.
