The NEW Clarion double base magnification thermal scope is one of the most technologically advanced thermal scopes in the world. The new Clarion scopes have been meticulously designed to solve one of the biggest problems many night hunters face, namely selecting the lens size/sensor configuration that will provide the base optical magnification and the field of vision for each hunter's main application. The Clarion mitigates this issue by integrating a dual lens optical system capable of mechanically alternating between a 25 mm lens and a 50 mm lens. This feature modifies the base magnification and the field of vision without degrading the image resolution!
With the Clarion 384, night hunters can now enjoy the benefits of a 25 mm lens with a base magnification of 2x and a wider field of view (10.5° × 7.9° or 53 feet at 100 meters), then quickly switch to a 50 mm lens with a base magnification of 4.5x and a narrower field of view (5.3° × 4.0° or 27 feet at 100 meters) to really make sure your positive identification and shot placement are accurate!
This dual base magnification flexibility is a new evolution in electro-optics and will provide hunters with the versatility needed to optimise their optics based on the specific geography and animals they are hunting, whether that be pigs in the East fields or coyotes in the Western deserts!
This new design is also paired with the most sensitive thermal sensor in its class, at a stunning level of less than 20 millikelvins.
Although the Clarion implements a new advanced optical system, they have not skimped on any of the design features that hunters expect from the AGM brand model - including: a high-quality 12 micron 384x288 thermal sensor, a removable rechargeable battery, up to 8.5 hours of continuous runtime on a single charge (2 batteries included), 10 options of internal reticle, 5 individual zero profiles, 10 different brightness and contrast settings, Wi-Fi hotspot capacity, built-in recording with sound and image capture storage, compatibility with the AGM Connect application, 4 different reticle colours, 4 colour palettes, 5 image sharpness settings and a high-quality American Defense mount that works well with both AR and bolt shooting platforms.
