The Shakespeare SALT XT Continental Surf rods are three-piece rods built on a high-quality carbon blank. The rods are specially designed to be used with a fixed spool reel and due to the combination of the large lengths with the slightly softer action of the blank, you will be able to achieve a casting distance effortlessly. Particular attention has been paid to the rod blanks, which are very slim and strong, exactly what you need for a powerful cast.
