Winning the award for best sea rod, the Legend Tournament Inshore made a strong impression at the ICAST the year of its release. As the worthy successor of all St Croix's know-how, its name demanded a level of performance to match and it didn't disappoint. Available in spinning and casting models, there’s definitely one for you. But be careful, once you've made the first casts, you'll find it very difficult to consider using anything else to feed your passion. A reference.
Features: • IPC (Integrated Poly Curve) technology • ART (Advanced Reinforcing Technology) technology • High modulus SCIV carbon and FRS (Fortified Resin System) technology • OAL Kigan Master Hand Zero Tangle anti-tangle rings with titanium frame • Fuji PTS blank-touch reel seat (Casting) • Fuji TVS blank-touch reel seat (Spinning) • Super grade cork • Kigan titanium lure keeper • Double layer of Flex Coat varnish • Handmade in Park Falls, USA
Technologies: • Integrated Poly Curve (IPC): Technology that eliminates transition points in the blank during its design. The result is a more linear action, more strength and sensitivity. • Advanced Reinforced Technology (ART): Additional layers of super high modulus carbon fiber placed within the blank structure prevent it from ovalizing under heavy loads. The result is a significant increase in strength (X10) without increasing weight or diameter. • Fortified Resin System (FRS): A process that combines super-resin and polymerization control during the complex blank cooking step. The result is an absence of micro-air bubbles and perfect alignment of fibers for a 33% increase in strength compared to standard resin.
