New LEGEND TOURNAMENT BASS 2023 spinning rods:
Here is the latest generation of the famous Legend Tournament Bass! The iconic series from St Croix Rod is now equipped with the new hybrid SCIV+ blanks developed, as always, exclusively at Park Falls. A combination of SCIV and SCIV carbon, it provides greater sensitivity as well as significant gains in smoothness and weight. These rods now also benefit from TET technology offering maximum sensation. To complement these technological advances, new models with unprecedented actions are also making their debut. Stamped with iACT, they are made from an association of SCIV and SCVI as well, but lined under a layer of Linear S-Glass fibre. This unique combination provides more moderate actions while guaranteeing great resonance. Exceptional blanks, impeccable equipment level and cosmetics matching its prestigious name, this emblematic series that has become an identifier still intends to remain a reference in the world of sport fishing with lures.
Characteristics 2023: New generation super high modulus hybrid carbon SCIV+ iACT technology (SCIV+ associated with Linear S-Glass fibre) on a selection of models Alconite anti-tangle rings with stainless steel frame Ergonomic nylon, aluminium and stainless steel reel seat Aluminium trim rings Super grade cork and custom handles Specific lure holder by technique Double layer of Flex Coat varnish Handcrafted and manufactured in Park Falls, USA
Previous versions: The famous Legend Tournament Bass seem unshakeable in the hearts of users. Exceptional blanks, impeccable equipment level and beautiful cosmetics, this emblematic series, whose reputation only continues to grow, still intends to remain a reference in the world of sport fishing with lures. Dressed in their magnificent Blue Pearl colour, these rods, originally designed to meet the expectations of US competitors and fishing guides who spend 300 days a year on the water, have become an identifier. Light, tactile, powerful, beautiful and robust... Unbeatable!
Features: • IPC technology (Integrated Poly Curve) • ART technology (Advanced Reinforcing Technology) • High modulus SCIV carbon and FRS technology (Fortified Resin System) • Fuji Alconite series K anti-tangle rings with matte "Corrosion Control" finish frame • Fuji PTS blank-touch reel seat (Casting) • Fuji TVS blank-touch reel seat (Spinning) • Aluminium trim rings • Super grade cork • Kigan lure holder • Double layer of Flex Coat varnish • Handcrafted and manufactured in Park Falls, USA
Technologies: • Integrated Poly Curve (IPC) : Technology that allows the elimination of transition points in the blank during its design. The result is a more linear action, more resistance and sensitivity.
• Advanced Reinforced Technology (ART) : Additional layers of super high modulus carbon fibre are arranged within the structure of the blank, preventing it from ovalizing under the high loads exerted on the rod. The result is a significant increase in strength (X10) without increasing weight or diameter.
• Fortified Resin System (FRS) : A process that combines super-resin and controlled polymerisation during the complex blank baking stage. The result is the absence of micro air bubbles and perfect fibre alignment, resulting in a 33% increase in strength compared to standard resin.
