As its name suggests, the primary aim of this pencil is to mimic the escape of a sardine. Its convenient, close-to-reality size and gear (ST 56 2#) make it an interesting lure that can be used on many predators.
SS stands for "Slow Sinking". This pencil sinks very slowly in a horizontal position. It is used when a follow-up on the "F" version has not been successful. Indeed, it fishes in the water's film and is mainly manipulated with more assertive jerks. It can fish more quickly. The variation of speed alters its oscillation. Excellent for drift fishing, the Sardinerun SS sticks to the water and allows usage in white waters (foam) and in choppy seas.
