The S-Shiner differentiates itself from the classic hard swimbaits, with a lip, by its glide and slalom swim, of "S-Action" type, obtained in continuous retrieve. Very realistic, it triggers the territorial instinct of predators who cannot resist such an affront for long. The attack is often very brutal! With a fairly realistic elongated silhouette and animated with a high rod, the S-Shiner roams on the surface and up to 1 m deep and traces an easily identifiable wake. Knowing the predators' fondness for prey evolving near the surface, they'd likely not let it pass peacefully! Fishing with a low rod or lowering the tip to touch the water, it sinks at 5s/m then evolves between 50 centimeters and 1 meter deep to decide less active fish. Its double-hinge articulation gives it a tight swim on linear retrieve but, it is easy to print it a walking the dog and lateral deviations by twitching it more or less lively between two waters.
