With its sleek body, the YAMAÏ 50s has been designed for trout fishing in torrents and fast rivers. It has excellent hold in the current, enabling you to fish downstream and the powerful water veins. Handmade in Japan, its body is covered with a thin sheet of aluminium, the refractive index of which gives it a coat with very natural reflections. The YAMAÏ 50s swims naturally in the current but can also be twitched to agitate the fish or upstream fishing to make it flutter. Thanks to its patented balancing system (M.S.W), it is thrown with surgical precision at a long distance, it never comes off and does not get caught on the bottom thanks to the positioning of its bib. With its 4.5g, the YAMAÏ 50s is a quiet Heavy Sinking equipped with red hooks to trigger more attacks and thin iron to optimise hooking. If you are targeting large fish, we therefore recommend that you change the armament for stronger iron models.
