The Tricoroll Ryushin 70 SHW will quickly become your lure of choice for hunting big trout and other large salmonids such as salmon or sea trout. As with the Flat Tricoroll, this lure is the result of a long collaboration between the ILLEX Stream Master team and Koichi Fujimatsu (designer) from the Jackall firm. This project combines Japanese expertise with the requirements of our rivers. This minnow is a "Super quickly sinking" or "Super heavy weight" lure. This characteristic and its high density give it a marked ability to be cast far and to cross the water column more quickly and reach the bottom of the river where the current is greatly slowed down where salmonids are. Its mechanical features make it operational as soon as it descends (strong rolling effect), but also during "downstream" or 'three-quarters downstream' drifts during which the angler accompanies his lure, rod high, with a semi-taut line.
In these conditions, the slightest animation sets it in motion through the simple pressure exerted by the current on the triangular bib that ensures it great stability in the most agitated areas. Traditional jerk and twitch animations are obviously effective in deceiving the vigilance of trout. Particularly at ease in all types of water courses, its streamlined body offers it exceptional stability in high current areas, but also in slower sectors where the slightest water pressure or animation is likely to make it oscillate. To limit the risks of hooks coming off, the ventral hook is fixed by a rolling swivel that rotates 360 degrees. These elements make it a favored prey for other species such as asp, perch or bass. (Ryushin) translates from Japanese as River Center.
