The shape of the D-Contact (viewed from above, from below) suggests a slender weight characteristic of the usual floating lures and therefore of small prey.
However, the height of the body as well as the distribution and calculation of 18 points weighted with Tungsten make this lure a heavy sinking lure which allows you to reach distance, depth and improve accuracy.
The distribution of these masses (law of inertia) gives the Contact the dynamic movement of a body in perpetual torsion trying to restore its position. The flat spectrum (achromatic colour, regardless of the lighting) of the split rings, of the hooks, avoids alerting the predator to unnatural light flashes.
The D-Contact series can fish "deeply" where other lures do not fish.
Its animation consists of bringing it back in a linear but jerky manner (small rod tip jolts) or working it from top to bottom (waterfalls, rocky bars, walls) high rod, a bit like a "handled" manoeuvre.
