This 4th generation of Primecaster was an opportunity to rethink a product that is ever closer to the expectations of surf casting anglers. The rod has been slimmed down for a better grip at the heel and is now available with a screw reel seat or a plate ("-F" in the code for the screw model and "-E" for the plate model). The other major novelty is the work on the full-tip models (known as "H" for hybrid) whose curvature has been softened in order to increase sensitivity and enhance the ability to transmit bites at long distances.
