This product incorporating our No-Trace system completely secures rigs assembled on a leadcore and on mainline materials of similar diameter, such as products from the Dark Matter Fused range. The system is designed so that in the event of the main line breaking above the headline knot, your hooklink can easily free itself from the leader, which will prevent the fish from carrying a hooklink, or, worse, a lead weight. Even some of the most secure helicopter rigs on leadcore are unable to prevent the build-up of weed or debris around the knot that can block the rubber bead and prevent the hook from being released. A problem, however, that's easy to solve thanks to the No-Trace Beads. During the fight the bead disengages from the rubber Chod Sleeve that holds it in place on the leader during casting and normal fishing; its slit allows it to be ejected from the leader, and the size 11 Ring Swivel (not supplied with this system) can then slide freely over any splice or knot on the leadcore. On the lead side, a Barrel Bead acts as a stop.

The complete system is easy to fit to a leader and can be used equally well with chod rigs or conventional helicopter rigs such as the Heli-Safe system.

Each chod/leadcore safety system contains: 8 Chod Sleeves, 8 Barrel Beads and 12 No-Trace Beads.
