UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) means Ultraviolet Protection Factor. It's the fabric's ability to prevent and repel the harmful effects of ultraviolet rays (UV-A, UV-B or UV-C). The UPF includes several protection grades indicated by a number: 20, 30, 50 and 50+. Currently, UPF50+ is the highest existing certification. This means that the garment protects the covered areas up to 98% against UV-A and UV-B radiation. (barely 2% of UVA and UVB rays pass through).
Features: • Sun protection hood, with mesh sides for optimal ventilation • Integrated neck wrap, OPEX model • Hood drawstring for windy conditions. • Loose fit, to allow better air circulation between the fabric and your skin, guaranteeing great comfort. • MESH: mesh part for maximum ventilation, reducing the feeling of heat, and allowing for faster moisture evacuation. • THUMB HOLE: you will use your t-shirt in classic long sleeves version or in "thumb hole" version to protect all the top of your hands from the sun.
