The Sleepy is a technical spoon that can be disconcerting at first glance. It has a fairly low rotation frequency, which helped save fishing sessions that had otherwise started off badly because the fish seemed to be snubbing. This lack of energy that makes it so unique unfortunately limits the sensations in the rod and its action in the current.
The rotation frequency is quite low for educated and less active fish (therefore weaker sensation in the rod). - Number 1 is coming back soon. We are trying to adjust it to have the same rotation frequency as numbers 2 and 3.
The Sleepy also allows for reaching long distances on casts, using swim-bait mass transfer technology. This phenomenon improves air penetration and also reduces the risk of tangles.
