The result of Tom Dove's thinking, this hook, marketed since 2014, has since become a real best-seller which has allowed the capture of large specimens to be multiplied, both in the United Kingdom and elsewhere, and even the capture of monsters breaking the 100-pound mark in Thailand. Uniquely shaped, it features a very wide gape, a short, curved shank, and an eye slightly turned inward. The inbound effect is accentuated by the curve of the shank to the eye. Thanks to its slightly inward offset point, the hook anchors solidly as soon as the fish is hooked. Extremely resistant, these hooks are equipped with micro barbs guaranteeing the security of anchoring without hindering penetration. A barbless version is also available. The Krank is suitable for various rigs and is as effective with a simple knotless knot as it is with more complex rigs such as the spinner rig, which Tom Dove is particularly fond of. The Krank is available in X version, a more resistant hook suitable for extreme fishing on very weedy or crowded continental waters. Each packet contains ten hooks, with or without a barb, in sizes 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10, as well as size 1 for the Krank X version.
