The Super Wide Gape is the result of extensive discussions with our consultants and other famous carp anglers. The idea that keeping as open a curve as possible in the crafting of our setups allows for better anchoring points is very widespread among carp anglers, and that's why we undertook to design these hooks with a particularly generous curve, even more so than our Wide Gape and Stiff Rig series. So here's the "Super Wide Gape", a hook with a long, wide and progressive curve, an ultra sharp re-entrant point, a shape never offered before in our different ranges. Tests have shown that even on the most basic setups, this hook is simply devastating. With such a wide opening, once the hook is inhaled by the carp there is much more exposed point and therefore a much stronger probability for a solid anchoring point when the fish tries to spit out the setup. This assurance allows you to worry less about the mechanics of the setup and focus on where to present it.
