This revolutionary 8-strand braid (7 strands of Dyneema and 1 strand of Gore) combines the performance of GORE material with the mastery of SUFIX's 8-strand braiding technology. This precision construction allows for a perfectly round and regular braid, improving tensile strength and knot resistance. GORE fibres are made from expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE). PTFE is an inert material, impervious to salt water, all chemicals and UV rays. GORE has a very low friction coefficient, giving this braid superior abrasion resistance, noise and vibration reduction and, of course, enhanced casting performance.
