Made from high-density polyurethane foam, the Notobug is a very enjoyable insect imitation to use when hunting for Chub, Trout or Bass, all of which are particularly fond of such critters! The 22 F version can be easily used with a fly rod.

Animated by small rod tip movements, the Notobug's silicone filament legs can be made to vibrate to give it the appearance of a struggling, dying insect that has fallen into the water. Another very good animation technique is possible by retrieving the Notobug in stop & go, causing it to dive and undulate under the surface of the water. During pauses, it rises to the surface as if to breathe... that's often when it gets gobbled up!

Finally, the ultimate technique for deceiving the most wary fish: leave it inert on the surface near plant arches or beds of weeds and do nothing at all!
