As with all the lures in the DB Yo-Zuri series, the 3 DB Shad combines two hyper innovative technologies:
3 D Prism Finish technology: the lure has an internal holographic film diffracting light in multiple colors. Unlike lures with an external coating, this one gives off numerous multidirectional reflections while having the advantage of never being damaged by attacks or hook friction.
Wave motion technology: thanks to ribs placed under the belly, the water flows over this surface creating micro "vortices". Perceptible by the fish's lateral line, these waves completely differ from those of other swimbaits and enhance the attractiveness of the lures that have them.
Thanks to its long lip, the 3 DB Shad dives very quickly up to 1.8 m, thus allowing to search for fish located in the lower layers. Its very tight swimming is powerful and its high flanks shift a huge volume of water. Thus it produces very heavy vibrations on a simple linear recovery like cranking. Once its swimming depth is reached, it will also be possible to take advantage of its ability to hang in suspension during stops to alternate jerks and pauses to provoke predators hidden on the bottom.
The tail hook is fitted with hyper luminous Mylar filaments which will constitute an attack point for the predator, thus limiting unhookings. Their reflections will mimic those of scales floating around a dying fish, thus increasing its attractiveness even when it remains suspended during pauses.
A chubby and deep diving jerkbait that will be very useful when the waters are still cold and the predators are less active close to the substrate. A chubby lure that will also be perfect for looking for big trout in deep rivers.
