Long casting distance
The Aurie-Q Longcast has been weighted for greater casting distances without affecting the swimming qualities for which it is known.

Dorsal balancing
The Aurie-Q Longcast has a floating dorsal projection that compensates for the added weight.
Casting distances are optimized but its 3D jerks during Bichi-bachi animation and its stable position during descent remain unchanged. This projection is a very appreciated attack point by cephalopods.

Anti-tangle weighting
The specific shape of the weighting of the Aurie-Q Longcast has been designed to accentuate the 3D jerks while limiting tangles.
