There have been many back and forth prototypes with Japan to finally achieve perfect rods. We have particularly modified the reel seat position, handle length, and ring numbers to achieve the ideal balance. The choice of a + butt section was motivated by the desire to respect as much as possible the action of these absolutely exceptional blanks. The first impression when you take a DAY'S FLE in hand is a feeling of lightness, you immediately feel at ease and you measure their immense potential. As for the aesthetics of these rods, we had nothing to change, simple and refined at the same time, these rods are simply magnificent.
DAY’S 69ML/FLE We asked Major Craft to adapt the Day’s 69ML to offer a rod specifically meeting the needs of our finesse fishing for perch in France. We have increased the power of this rod, which can now cast lures up to 15g, and set the hook and fight big fish more efficiently. Associated with a faster action and increased nervosity, this rod is therefore ideal for finesse fishing for perch and zander such as light vertical fishing, drop-shotting or scratching with a rubber-jig and soft lure, and is equally suitable for working swimbaits.
DAY’S 70M/FLE The Day’s 70M-FLE was developed specifically for France as there were no rods with these specifics in Japanese models. Equipped with a nervous blank and increased sensitivity thanks to its Fuji K rings, it is ideal for precision fishing requiring quick detection. Its length of 2m13 is a classic for our fishing in France from shore or boat. It will allow you to fish numerous freshwater species such as asp, perch or zander with medium-sized lures between 5 and 21g.
DAY’S 72MH/FLE The Day’s 72MH-FLE is the most versatile rod in the range. Allowing to cast any type of lure between 5 and 30g, it is both soft enough to fish with minnow, crank or spinnerbait while maintaining good sensitivity due to the quality of its blank and rings, and thus effectively detect bites on finer fishing. The Day’s 72MH-FLE is a real exploration rod due to the variety of techniques usable and thanks to its length, coupled with its Regular Fast action, allowing for long casting distances. It also has the ideal characteristics for asp fishing.
DAY’S 76H/FLE This rod is ideal for fishing from shore with fairly large lures, going up to 42g. Its Regular Fast action and length will serve to reach great casting distances, while its power will enable you to set the hook and extract large fish from quite a distance. Its flexibility is ideal for fishing with lures emitting strong vibrations like big cranks, spinnerbaits or chatterbaits. It is also quite suitable for fishing with large shads. This rod will fully satisfy you for pike or zander linear fishing.
DAY’S-862MH/FLE This rod is quite atypical due to its length in this power range. Indeed, with its 2m55 and its Regular Fast action, you will reach unmatched casting distances with lures between 7 and 30g. This makes this rod ideal for shore fishing on large spaces, requiring to reach fish far away while maintaining power and stiffness for long-distance hooking. This rod is perfect for asp, bass and zander shore fishing.
DAY’S-63MH/FLE Vertical With its 1m90 and high sensitivity, this rod has been specially designed for vertical fishing. Its tip action, combined with the quality of its blank and its Fuji K rings, make it a formidable weapon to detect the slightest irregularities on the bottom and animate a lure with great precision. This rod can handle rigs up to 40g vertically, making possible fishing with fairly large lures and heavy weights - such as Easy Shiner 6.5'' with 40g jig head - allowing to look for fish in deep areas or with stronger currents. But it also allows for lighter fishing such as with an Easy Shiner 4'' on a 10g jig head. Its length is optimal. Reasonably short for vertical fishing, it remains long enough to maintain a good amplitude during the hook set and to ensure its efficiency. Finally, the power of its blank allows the fight on big fish, whether in strong current or cluttered bottom.
