The HP bug is a sinking insect imitation designed for finesse fishing.
Its body is injected in bi-materials: without salt in the upper half and with salt in the ventral part to weight it down and give it a perfect balance in weightless descent. It has perfectly sized and arranged legs to stabilize it in the water without slowing it down in the air. On the fall or during actions, these appendages vibrate in subtle ways, but at high speed and reproduce a trembling that resembles no other lure. Its dense and flat body allows easy skipping to go after fish positioned under the foliage on the lookout for any insect. A treat that no predator, even the most wary, will be able to resist. Its small size (less than 4 cm) therefore makes it suitable for pressured Bass but also for chub, perch, trout, zander, and sea bass. It lends itself to various techniques: weightless, neko rig, for open water fishing and drop shot, light carolina, jig head for deeper fishing. It can be mounted on a texas hook (Pile Driver) #3 to #2, on a drop shot hook (Air Dancer #3 to #2) or with a wacky hook (Captain Hook #4).
