The Magic May Fly (6.5cm / 1.2g) Illex have received the Pecheur awards 2023 for the creature to offer to wary trouts fed up with seeing thunderous shads that emit too many vibrations from the start...
The Magic May Fly is an innovative 3 in 1 creature. Its silhouette represents an invertebrate (mayfly at the larval stage) with fine and subtle motifs that can be used on all types of light rigs: weightless, drop shot, split shot, micro jig, jighead, light texas... Its appendages and its worked shape make the Magic May Fly very mobile and very attractive. The targets will be all the species feeding on aquatic larvae such as perch, chub, black-bass, trout, barbels... This little creature is innovative and very clever, it can be declined in several combinations. It has a thinning that makes it sectionable. On one side, we will have a maggot or caterpillar that we can skillfully mount on a micro lead head with a view to combing the currents or scratching the bottom to look for fish feeding on small prey near the substrate. On the other we will have a floating insect capable of fooling the "rising" fish evolving on the surface. The Magic May Fly is quickly becoming a "must have" for trout and delicate predators, quickly adapting to the mood of the day's fish!
