As often, the brand BIWAA likes to be found where it is not expected. This is again the case with this latest soft lure called DEUS, a shad with a custom design that can be described as a "finesse swimbait". At the base of this brand new concept, the idea was to put in the hands of fishermen a technically out of the ordinary product. The designers of DEUS have therefore strived to develop a unique product, combining very particular characteristics while respecting one imperative: maximum efficiency.
Thus, DEUS has the ability to adapt to all situations and therefore to all possible assemblies. Its body is injected in bi-material, that of its belly being saltier and denser than that of its back. This feature allows the shad to position itself and remain stable at all recovery speeds, particularly on drop-shot, split-shot or weightless assemblies. Ventral and dorsal slots have also been provided for perfect assembly and anti-weed positioning of the Texan hook. In addition, inside the ventral slot, you will find a pre-positioning hole that will allow you to insert a tungsten nail weight while maintaining the balance of the DEUS.
In terms of material, once again BIWAA has developed a brand new "ECO" formulation without phthalates in order to develop a flexibility in total accordance with the design and function of the lure. To make it even more effective, two types of B2A attractants based on natural shrimp have been integrated into the manufacturing process. One of the attractants is captive inside the shad material, while the other, used outside, diffuses in the water and sends a strong signal to predators.
On the design side, small almost trivial details give DEUS an exceptional attractiveness even in crystal clear waters. Regardless of the recovery speed, the subtle swaying movement of its unique tail design perfectly mimics a distressed fish. This imitative effect is reinforced by small scales engraved all over the body of the lure. If we add to that particularly worked colors to mimic the colors of the most frequent bait fish, we obtain in the water an almost perfect mimetic effect.
