Yo-Zuri Pin's: Delicate but strong!
After years of loyal service, it must be acknowledged that the Pin's Minnow remains a timeless reference for the trout season opener!
This lure, which one might think is delicate due to its profile, is actually specifically designed to withstand currents. In short, it loves the juice! It is ideal for the shallowest areas such as large placid stretches because with the rod held high it skims the water's surface. For animation, we recommend a simple straight retrieve punctuated by a few light twitchings. It is excellent for quickly covering a lot of ground but also proves very useful for discreet pitching under the rod. Its swimming action is straight and stable, allowing you to venture as close as possible to covers and rocks. Its vibrations are quite discreet, which is an advantage with salmonids often scared off by too intense wobbling. It must also be noted that it is not very noisy, which again is a plus with wary fish.
Far from the outrageous colors that can be found here and there, the shades are very natural. Everyone will choose their favorite color depending on their playground, but the "speckled trout" and "bleak" styles remain standards for many of us!
While the 5 cm (2 gr) model is a universal fit, the 7 cm (4 gr) model allows for the specific search for larger specimens or even sea trout. We note that it also thrives with chub, perch and all beautiful fish that target small prey (more common than you might think!)
