A range dedicated to modern nymph fishing!

4 rods for which we combine the most modern technologies for a range dedicated to modern nymph fishing. A range that complements the Tactical Pro series for the finest fishing.

Design:
Long months of trials and sharing with a specialised journalist and world champions have allowed us to define and fine-tune our objectives. All of our design criteria are met with this Tactical Graphen series. Here is the main list:

Bring the best technology to fishermen in the context of using the latest fishing techniques. Avoid the trap of the "Ultra" rod that can only be used for one technique and offer a leisure/ competition adaptability without excluding dry fishing. Prioritise comfort, especially for long models. Search for versatility from small to large river taking into account the size of catches from small to large fish. Search for the best balance by favouring softness but with a certain speed for a more directional blank and therefore a gain in precision. Preserve two uses: Monofilament with a diameter of 0.50/ 0.55 as well as N° 2 and 3 lines. Due to the handle/ reel seat design, make the use of trigger reels possible.

Rings:
Starting with FUJI SIC followed by Hard Chrome rings for the 8'8 and Recoil rings for the other models. Hard chrome head ring. The total number of rings and their positioning is defined for monofilament/ silk versatility.

Reel seats:
Up locking for the 8'8 and down locking for the other 3. Aviation Alu and wooden insert.

Handle:
A refined diameter of 26mm coupled with a length of 165mm facilitates the use of trigger reels. AAAA cork and high resistance protection and balancing butt.

TACTICAL GRAPHEN 8'8 #3:
Designed for small rivers for fast and precise short distance nymph and dry fishing. Optimum efficiency.

TACTICAL GRAPHEN 10'6 #3:
Its roundness of action makes it a very complete rod. Equally comfortable for modern nymph fishing techniques as well as tandem fishing. This rod allows you to propel your lightest nymphs with ease. Very good power reserve. Versatility for dry fishing.

TACTICAL GRAPHEN 10'9 #2/3:
This rod is more nymph oriented for medium and large rivers. Moderate/fast action. Uniformity of the blank with no hard points with good shock absorption on striking to avoid breakages. Excellent fish handling that limits unhooking. A certain versatility using a 3 line for dry fishing.

TACTICAL GRAPHEN 11'2 #2/3:
Exceptional comfort due to its balance. Moderate/fast action that allows both fine and light fishing as well as the use of your heaviest "Javis". Excellent fighter for all fish sizes. This rod is more nymph oriented even if the use of a line and dry fishing is possible.

GRAPHENE:
It is defined as a 2-dimensional layer composed only of carbon atoms arranged in a hexagon like a honeycomb pattern. This is a carbon sheet only one atom thick (one millionth the diameter of a human hair). It is defined as a solid material (100 X stronger than a layer of steel of the same thickness) and at the same time the thinnest and lightest.

However, due to its great hardness and crystalline nature, it does not absorb shocks well. To solve this problem, it is sandwiched with "classic" carbon sheets with a different molecular structure. This optimises the final material that will be wound onto mandrels which will produce the blanks of your future rod after baking!

Nobel Prize for Physics in 2010, researchers Geim and Novoselov were the first to isolate Graphene using the so-called exfoliation technique. During the awards ceremony, André Geim explains that 1 m2 of a Graphene sheet supports a 4kg cat while it itself only weighs the weight of the same cat's whisker.
