The coating of a braid allows on one hand to protect it against abrasion, and on the other hand to stiffen it. These two benefits are ideal for long distance fishing, knowing that one can strip the braid over a few centimeters very easily to have the necessary flexibility of a joint near the hook directly on the same thread.
This braid allows you to create "combi-rigs", meaning combined setups where: • On one side, over the length, the varnish ensures the rigidity of the thread and avoids tangling, • On the other, by stripping the thread, we find the original flexible braid which allows us to create a setup on a flexible joint.
